When I was a kid, my grandmother didn’t allow me to have pets. She was scared that I would get infected with viruses that would affect my health in the future.
It’s only a pet, why does she make it a big deal? A few years after she passed away, I realized pets are not only animals. They are my family. They are part of my life.
